Life was really busy before I left for Europe, I had several major projects at school followed by a visit from my brother, followed immediately by finals. I then had one week to wrap things up at work, pack my apartment, and pack for Europe.
Here's Ky and Steph at the zoo and in Hollywood:
This is Evelyn helping me pack all my clothes:
Isn't she cute? I can't wait to see her again when I get back. She'll be almost six months old! Before I left, the Becherettes (Toph and Bee) and Mark and Ashley met Nish and I in LA, it was my farewell to the city. We saw a great British film call "Son of Rambow" ate at the Apple Pan then had drinks at a Spanish restaurant. It was nice. Here's Mark and Ashleigh at the Apple Pan:
I think I packed and repacked my suitcase three times trying to get the right balance between how much it weighed and how much stuff I wanted to bring... I think it has worked out well so far though. It feels like I have been gone a bit longer than I have-- I think have three types of foreign currency may contribute to that. (Canadian- acquired during my 7-8 hour layover, pounds and now Euros) Well, I guess that is all I wanted to share about my pre-departure. We can move forward from here.
